Grand Canyon National Park, Nankoweap Trail Nankoweap Trail in the Grand Canyon National Park is really beautiful. For different reasons we did not complete the trail. But that is OK. If you feel like a trail is too much for you at that time then best thing is to back out before you get in over your head. At the time that we attempted this trail we were not ready to finish it. We are planning to go back and finish it in the future. The first three(3) miles of this trail is through National Forest and is really beautiful because there are areas that let you catch a glimpse of things to come. Also during this trip I was into trees and I took pictures of dead or burnt out trees. The reason was that the trees were greyed from age and were so lovely I hope that you like these photos and this trip.
