This part of the Grand Canyon is really beautiful. On the Hermit Trail you go down an area called the Grand Staircase. This is a series of switchbacks. There is a point on the Boucher Trail that you can see the Grand Staircase and it is a beautiful sight. The views on this trail, to me at least, are some of the most beautiful in the Grand Canyon. This loop is on the South Rim and in the western part to the National Park.
